Peer Review Process

  1. Submission: The process begins with the Author submitting the manuscript to the Managing Editor
  2. Initial Internal Routing: The Managing Editor passes the submission along to the Editor (± 1-2 weeks)
  3. Initial Feedback: The Editor sends communication or initial feedback back to the Author (± 1-2 weeks)
  4. Author Response: The Author responds to the editor's initial feedback or provides necessary adjustments back to the Editor (± 1-2 weeks)
  5. Review Assignment: The Editor sends the manuscript to a Reviewer for external evaluation (± 2-3 weeks)
  6. Reviewer Recommendation: The Reviewer evaluates the work and sends a decision (YES/NO) back to the Editor (± 3-4 weeks)
  7. Review Results: The Editor communicates the reviewer's findings and any required revisions back to the Author (± 1 week)
  8. Final Revision: The Author sends the revised manuscript or final response back to the Editor (± 14 days)
